DiveAtlas does what paper can’t do: interact with maps, distances, marine species, play videos and… dive with us.

iDiveAtlas is an independent, not sponsored dive world atlas. It has been designed and realized with the contribution of diving professionals who performed thousands of dives worldwide. You can choose a fish species in our list and find the dive sites where the encounter is most likely to occur, or select an item from the ‘wrecks’ list and visualize the best wreck dive sites in our world map. And also the best caves, caverns, canyons, blue holes and macrophotography spots in the world. All maps are interactive. We also rated the diving destination of every dive site. Since fun doesnt come last, we linked the best dive sites and marine species related videos - when available - from youtube and vimeo. The app also features a distance function from your selected dive site. Our criteria when choosing the dive sites is a mix of popular, up to date and ultimate, new destinations. It is the authors choice not to include sites where fish feeding or (even worse) shark feeding are a common habit. We believe in not interfering with wildlife. Designers and contributors all have a truly enviable diving experience worldwide.
